Art

I'm a Dakelh artist from the Nadleh Whut'en Yinka Dene First Nation. I draw from my ancestral roots to tell stories that honour the connection between all living beings. Some of it ends up on canvas, some on trucks, some moving.

Legends on canvas

Baby Yoh

Baby Yoh

A tribute to the Golden Eagle, Yoh, a sacred guardian of the highest realms. Yoh's cry resonates through creation, connecting earth, water, and sky. The Bear is strength and respect, the Killer Whale is the ocean's spirit, the Salmon is the life force returning through the sacred veins of water. The four feathers carry the colours of all races, All My Relations. Nadleh is the place where the salmon return, and in that cycle the land, water, and all beings stay interwoven under the Sun and Moon.

Midnight Yoh

Midnight Yoh

Yoh soaring through the night, a silent guardian of the land, bathed in the glow of the moon and stars. Even in darkness there is wisdom, protection, and connection. The balance between night and day, spirit and earth.

Wolf Spirit

Wolf Spirit

Under the moon's embrace, Yus, the Wolf Spirit, prowls, a shadow woven into the fabric of time. His steps echo the whispers of ancestors. He hunts not just for sustenance but for destiny, his heart beating with the land's pulse. With each howl he sings the song of his forebears.

Mama Sturgeon

Mama Sturgeon

In the ancient waters of British Columbia, Lhkw'encho Aloo, the Mother Sturgeon, moves with the grace of generations past. Creation, balance, and the unbreakable bond between mother and child. She teaches that motherhood is the heartbeat of existence, nurturing the future while carrying the wisdom of the past. For the life-givers, the protectors, the ones who hold the world together.

Animation

Bringing legends to life

I breathe life into Indigenous legends and original stories through animation and characters you don't forget. From the beings of Dakelh lore to bold new heroes, they carry the strength, wisdom, and humour of Indigenous identity: the Shapeshifter, the celestial Baby Yoh, the guiding Mama Sturgeon.

Hand-drawn elements, motion graphics, and digital animation, in a style that fuses tradition with what's possible now. Nadleh Toon Town is the world they live in.

Want to collaborate on a visually stunning, culturally powerful animated project? Let's create something legendary.
